Fishing permit rules

General

  • No Swimming, wading, or entering the water
  • No illegal drugs
  • No disorderly/disruptive conduct

Equipment & Methods

  • No trotlines, snagging, or cast nets
  • No chumming
  • No treble hooks, steel leaders, or stringers
  • Limit 2 poles

Bait

  • No keeping or using bait caught on the property

Handling

  • Use nets on all fish
  • Follow proper handling and release practices

Fishing Area

  • Fish in front of you and toward the middle of the lake

Property Rules

  • No burning skids or wood with hardware
  • No glass bottles – clean up all trash
  • Speed limit 8 mph – parallel parking only

7. CATCH & RELEASE / KEEPER POND RULES

All coolers, bags, and containers are subject to inspection upon entry and exit

All fish are CATCH & RELEASE unless participating in a paid keep pass in designated keeper ponds only

Barbless Hooks for Trout in keeper ponds

Paid Keep Pass (Keeper Ponds Only):

Trout – $8 per lb – limit 5

Channel Catfish – $5 per lb – limit 5

All injured trout MUST be kept and paid for at $8 per lb

Once a participant reaches their limit or is done keeping fish, no further fishing is allowed in keeper ponds

Fishing keeper ponds without a paid keep pass is prohibited
